Established in 1992, The CEO Institute developed from a boutique Melbourne-based HR consultancy whose principal Ken Gunn is now the Institute Chairman. The first meeting chaired by the now national Chief Executive, Andrew Dalziel, confirmed the need for a quality meeting forum for CEOs.

Having established a number of meeting forums in Melbourne and relinquished all consultancy work, The CEO Institute opened offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide in 1997. It has subsequently become the leading network of business leaders in Australia.

Leaders from business, including not for profits and the public sector, meet regularly to share ideas, experiences and challenges and to be exposed to leading edge business thinking. Access to the diverse perspectives of their peers enhances members' knowledge and expertise enabling them to lead their organisations more effectively.
