Ewoud has over 30 years experience as a top executive of globally significant financial services companies.  He is currently a Non Executive Director of Suncorp following its merger with Promina group.

Achievements:
Ewoud Kulk is a successful international businessman with very solid leadership credentials, and an excellent track record as a successful CEO and company director at the most senior levels of business. An innovative and strategic thinker, Ewoud moved to Australia in 1989 to head up the Australian and New Zealand operations office of Royal Insurance. He was instrumental in the merger between Sun Alliance and Royal Insurance in Australia in 1992, and became Deputy Managing Director of Royal and Sun Alliance Australia. He was subsequently appointed Managing Director and finally Group Director Asia Pacific. The company changed its name to Promina Group and was listed on the Australia and New Zealand stock exchanges in 2003. It is one of the top 50 companies in Australia, and in the top 20 in New Zealand.

Ewoud was a Director of AAMI from 1989 and Chairman from 1991 to 1999.

Ewoud has a Bachelor of Business / Economics from Erasmus University in The Netherlands.
