The CEO Institute

Support you can use

The CEO Institute was founded by Ken Gunn - currently Chairman & CEO - in 1992. The CEO Institute was established to help business leaders connect with their peers and learn from them. It is now Australia's leading networking group for senior executives who want to be smarter, more efficient business leaders.

The first meeting of The CEO Syndicate® program was held in Melbourne in June 1992. After establishing its reputation in Melbourne, The CEO Institute opened offices in Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane in 1997 - and in 2007 it opened in Perth.

How it works

Members of The CEO Institute benefit by:

  • Connecting with like-minded leaders in a supportive, secure environment. You can grow as a leader by stimulating your thinking through vigorous discussion with your peers.
  • Learning from others' experiences. You can talk with your peers about common problems and hear how others are solving them.
  • Networking. You can build a wider network of personal contacts, helping you to build your business and social networks. The CEO Institute's unique syndicate meeting format fosters rapport, sharing and trust among members.
