Achievements:
Ewoud has over 30 years experience as a senior executive of globally significant financial services companies. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Suncorp-Metway, having been a Director of Promina (which merged with Suncorp in March 2007). Suncorp is Australia’s largest insurer (2nd in New Zealand), 5th largest bank and has significant positions in life and wealth management Trans-Tasman. The Group is in top-25 by market capitalisation and serves over 7 million customers.

Ewoud was Managing Director of the Australian General Insurance Group (1994 to 1998) and was Group Director Asia Pacific for Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Group (1998 - 2003). He is also a past president of the Insurance Council of Australia and was a Director of AAMI from 1989 and Chairman from 1991 to 1999.

As a successful international businessman, Ewoud offers solid leadership credentials, and an excellent track record as a successful CEO and company director at the most senior levels of business. Ewoud was born in The Netherlands and moved to Australia in 1989.

Ewoud is highly regarded by those he mentors and enjoys being able to put something back into the personal and business development of CEOs and business leaders today. His interest in business development spans both small and big business.
