Achievements:
Geoff has had a career that spans both the public and private sectors. He worked with the Auditor General’s Office and the Department of the Treasury in Canberra before returning to Perth in 1974 to commence his career in insolvency.

He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1983 and was admitted to partnership in 1986. Geoff was a Partner with PwC until December 2006.

Geoff specialised in business recovery services, with his principal areas of consulting and advisory services being business appraisals, investigating accountant reports, reconstructions and turnaround management and performance monitoring of corporate groups across a wide and diverse range of industry groups, as well as undertaking formal administration, receiverships and controllership appointments.

Geoff has been engaged by many financial institutions as business adviser and receiver and manager and undertaken statutory appointments as liquidator, official liquidator, scheme manager, and bankruptcy trustee. He is a past chairman of the Western Australian Division of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia and was the Western Australian delegate to the National body of that association from 1989 to 1992.

His career has also included numerous other significant appointments such as Consultant to the Board of the MG Kailis Group, Chairman of Dairy Western Australia Limited, Liquidator of the Bell Group Ltd, Chairman of the Swan River Trust, State Government appointment to the position of Managing Director of the Manjimup Cannery for six months and Commodore of the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club, to name a few.
