Achievements:
Martin is the Managing Director of Bamford Partners, an independent corporate advisory firm providing advice on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and compliance to domestic and international businesses in the private and listed arenas.
He is Chairman of the LTX Group of Companies which provide software and service solutions to financial services businesses including major banks and intermediaries.
His executive career has been focused around financial services and corporate strategy. He was previously Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Ashe Morgan Winthrop (AMW), a commercial finance and property funds management business where he held a variety of board, remuneration, compliance and credit committee roles in the main and subsidiary businesses.
Prior to AMW Martin led the strategy for BankWest’s east coast operations between 1996 and 2001 with responsibility for the start-up and development of new businesses to improve growth and profitability. Former leadership positions within BankWest included Credit Strategy, Business Markets and Securitisation.
In his earlier career he travelled extensively, creating finance packages for mining, resource and infrastructure projects in Europe, North America and Australia. He commenced a banking career in the United Kingdom.
