Achievements:
Peter Jollie AM is a former CEO of P&O Containers in Australia and has been a director of a number of listed and private companies over the last ten years.

He is currently Deputy Chairman of NAFDA and a Director of Murdoch Books, Reliance Rail and is a Governor of the Naval Air Museum, Nowra. He is a past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants; the Chairman of Downer EDI from 2008 until November 2010; and Chairman of the Defence Housing Authority from 1997 to 2003. Peter was also previously a Governor of the Heart Research Institute.

Peter has also had a long involvement in international trade, particularly in the Asia Pacific region, and has chaired Australia’s committees to multilateral trade meetings. He was a member of the Trade Policy Advisory Committee to Ministers for Trade for six years to 2002, and facilitated a review of the EMDG Scheme for Austrade in 2004-2005. He was involved in the Finance Commission and Communications Commission for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Bid.

In 2000 Peter was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his services to the accounting profession, to the promotion of Australian trade in the Asia-Pacific region, and to the community.
