Achievements:
The Hon. Susan Lenehan has held key leadership and management roles in both the public and private sectors.
Susan is an independent consultant, as well as an executive mentor and coach. She owns and manages a small manufacturing and retail company, and is a professional non-executive director of a number of organisations including the Internal Audit Committee of the NSW Department of Community Services (DoCS).
Previous roles include Minister for Education, Employment and Training and Minister for Environment, Water Resources, Lands and Planning in the South Australian Government and CEO of a national industry association.
Susan is also a former Chair of the Waste Recycling and Processing Service of NSW (Waste Service NSW), and a former member of Cancer Council Boards of Australia and New South Wales.
Susan holds an MBA from Deakin University.
Susan was one of the 1000 Australians invited by the Prime Minister to the 2020 Summit in Canberra in April 2008. Susan participated in the discussion about population, sustainablity, climate change, water and the future of our cities.
